De naald wordt afgestoft…
Hardcore, jungle and techno with a picket line.
In the summer of 1992 a university collective called FalsoSpettacolo, the autonomous collective, a few Turin anarchists and, by their own account, a few strays put their money together and bought the FM frequency 105.250 — a free radio for the city, wanted since the seventies. They founded the association the same summer and turned what had been a commercial station into a community one, with antifascism, anticapitalism, antisexism and antiauthoritarianism as the agreed ground.
Some sixty shows run, all volunteer and none of them paid for by advertising. 4×4 Monster Track takes a late night through drum and bass, jungle, electro and techno; A.C.A.B. pairs punk hardcore with news from the struggles; OverJoy holds dub, reggae and roots; Chimera goes to soundscapes; and Aguaplano has been on Brazilian popular music since 2005.
Still nobody's client.
