Quitando el polvo a la aguja…
Ambient, jungle, country — whoever has the hour next.
ChuntFM has been running live shows since 2022, a British station built on hosts rather than formats: thirty-seven of them have held a slot across roughly fifteen hundred broadcasts, and the roster turns over as people arrive and drift away again. A few have stuck hard — Malearic Mondays has run close to fifty times, Marlon Rando's Hour of Power is not far behind, and No Coffee and Club Sandwich have both passed thirty. Nobody is paid, nothing is sold, and no house style is imposed.
What the hosts reach for refuses to settle. Their own tags across the archive run to 846 distinct terms: ambient leads, then house, soul, jungle, hip hop and jazz, with a long tail through folk, country, dub, balearic and post-punk. Alongside the main channel a jukebox takes requests from the chat room, and a third channel rebroadcasts older shows.
Small station, enormous record bag.
