Vienna's Callshop desk: patches, MIDI, and residents.
The network started in a Düsseldorf back yard in 2017 and grew the way its founder travelled: Kaspar van de Water took residencies in Paris and in Vienna, and Vienna is the one that got a desk out of it. It runs a LibreTime rig of its own, publishes its own podcast, and holds a second stream that keeps going whether or not Düsseldorf is on air. Sets have gone up numbered by week since at least the autumn of 2023, and the three cities between them fill a live week, Monday through Sunday.
The week is short and it is all local. Macrosoft brings Patches, RVTC follows with Midi Musik, Peletronic takes Daze Like This, and what is left goes to a Residents Broadcast. Everything lands in the same archive as the other cities, filed by family — House I Techno, UK Bass I Jungle, Ambient I Classical — so a Vienna hour sits next to a Leipzig one and a Cologne one.
The third phone in the shop.
