Espeeera...
Quitando el polvo a la aguja…
London soul, funk and reggae, one DJ at a time.
It started in June 2019, when a handful of London selectors decided the city had stopped hearing its own soul records. The anchor is Kelly B, a dancer before he was a DJ and a fixture on London's soul stations long before this one, who brought the lowrider groove and 70s deep soul crossover sound to town with his Vinyl Soul Shuffle. Around him sit more than twenty presenters pulled from club residencies and festival stages, plus a standing transatlantic swap with The Face Radio in Brooklyn.
Each show is its own territory. Neal Fry keeps to northern soul and Fred Mann to rare soul and lovers rock on original vinyl, Colsie runs jazz-funk, boogie and disco on the Saturday Soul Show, Tony Wilson files Balearic Journeys and DJ Fuxy keeps the Boss Reggae Train moving. It strays too: Death By Rainbow brings techno and industrial, Future Dance acid house and electro.
Everyone brings their own crate.
