Espeeera...
Quitando el polvo a la aguja…
Spiritual jazz, broken beat, and deep house from Marrakech.
Ness started in Marrakech in 2008, when the designer Younes Duret and a friend in Paris worked out that the music they cared about was reaching Moroccan airwaves not at all. It was the country's first alternative netradio and it has never taken money for what it does — the station says outright that it generates no revenue, and points listeners at the artists' own shops instead. The crew has grown to nearly thirty people, spread from Marrakech to London, Paris, Vienna, Brussels and California.
Daz-I-Kue of Future Soul Records presents, so does Lars Behrenroth, Ben Gomori and Mr. Leenknecht out of Ghent; Hajer, a historian by training, takes a show of her own. The archive runs past two hundred DJ mixes and sixty interviews, and in 2026 the station signed on as a partner of the first Marrakech Jazz Expérience. Every record is picked by a person, never by an algorithm.
Every track has a fingerprint.
