The Hip Hop Side, running from evening to dawn.
Giving a whole channel to one genre is an odd thing for an arts foundation to do, and Onassis Stegi did it anyway. The station it runs from Athens has three of them, directed by the Greek electronic musicians Voltnoi and Quetempo out of a studio the foundation built, and the second is hip-hop and nothing else. The research behind all three is the same: a Mediterranean read as an archipelago, the cities along it treated as one connected scene rather than a set of national ones.
Evening Selections carries the channel through the evening, and then the strand simply keeps going through the night without handing over to anything else. The producers it draws on sit across the station's roster of more than a hundred and sixty names, from Ramallah's beat scene to club and rap producers working out of the Americas and across Europe.
One genre, taken seriously.
