Engenharia Rádio has broadcast from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto since 2007, run by the faculty's student association and staffed by more than fifty students and alumni drawn from universities across the city. It reaches an academic population of around eighty thousand, and in nearly two decades it has carried over eighty authored programmes — which makes it the only university radio in Porto and one of the first online stations in the country.

These days most of what it makes is talk. Crises de Tenra Idade has run fortnightly for two years, INESC TEC Science Bits sits researchers down to explain their work, Um Poema de Tunesconii brings in a guest poet each time, and FEUP em Viagem takes a country or two per episode. The music runs through SlowDem' Vibes, rap, R&B and afrobeats, and Alumni a Dar Música, where former students pick the playlist.
