Transmission NovaTransmission Nova

Transmission Nova is the guitar half of WEATNU, a sister channel to the electronic main station and a sub-label in its own right. The parent movement started in 2014 as We are the New Underground, founded by Almark to give DIY artists somewhere to be heard, with radio as the first thing it built and the thing everything since has been arranged around. Nova exists because one signal could not hold both the synthesisers and the guitars, so the two run side by side with separate queues.

What it holds is the second half: post-punk and indie rock, shoegaze laid thick, the psychedelic end of things, and enough 90s alternative to date the record collection it came from. It runs continuously on music the artists uploaded themselves, so the running order owes nothing to a release schedule and a first demo can follow a record that took three years.
