Dark disco, indie dance and electro, Bogotá after dark.
The Bogotá room opened in January 2022 on Carrera 14a, the biggest and most ambitious of the group's rooms at the time, and it arrived with a stated aim: to knit together a wide record-loving network in the Colombian capital. Mad Radio itself had begun in Medellín in 2017 as a platform for emerging local talent, and Barcelona opened before Bogotá did. It opened across three floors with terraces, a shop for records and merch, and a music hall upstairs for bands and showcases by local collectives.
Dark disco and indie dance set the register, with electro running through both, minimal house filling the stretches between and a fair amount of synth-led nu disco. The patio booth is the one on air: the radio shows and guest sets played there, Wednesday to Saturday as a rule, go straight to the stream, and the rest of the week it keeps to the same palette.
The moodiest room in the chain.
