Deep house, hypnotic minimal, and a jazz undertow.
Half Is Enough runs out of Romania as a deep house publication with a radio attached, and its editorial habit is to ask the artists rather than answer for them. When I Think Of Deep House has producers set down what the form means to them, the Selects series has DJs hand over a short list of records worth chasing down, and Vinyl Alter Egos asks producers about the pressings they reach for when they play out. Hidden Gems, Label Inside and Roots run alongside as further strands of the same digging.
The stream keeps to what its own page calls the deeper shades of house, stripped down to their bare essentials, unhurried and pared back, with the Romanian minimal scene never far away. Around it, Timeless Mixes collects sets worth returning to, a landmark Essential Mix from 2000 among them, and Strangers In The Night features mixes sent in by listeners.
The record bag, not the chart.
