Spolveriamo la puntina…
Deep house, hypnotic minimal, and a jazz undertow.
Half Is Enough runs out of Romania as a deep house publication with a radio attached, and its editorial habit is to ask the artists rather than answer for them. Move D, Lawrence, Luke Solomon, Iron Curtis and Oskar Offermann have each set down what deep house means to them; Vakula, Katsuya Sano, Priku, Suciu, Prichindel and Traumer have each handed over a short list of records worth chasing down. A parallel series puts the same question to producers about the pressings they play.
The stream keeps to the deeper end of house, unhurried and pared back, with Carsten Jost, Christopher Rau, Delano Smith and Ryo Murakami in the rotation. Around it, Timeless Mixes collects sets worth returning to — a landmark Essential Mix from 2000, a two-hour back-to-back from a Moscow club — while Strangers In The Night airs mixes sent in by listeners.
The record bag, not the chart.
