Hooold...
Dusting off the needle…
Deep house, tech house, and nothing on rotation.
It began as a hobby between a few friends in Warsaw who wanted somewhere to put the mixes they were recording at home, and by its own account it has been running on and off for a long time without ever becoming anything more. There is no company behind it, no editorial board and no revenue: the two residents select and record most of what goes out, listeners and producers send in the rest, and the costs come out of someone's pocket. No advertising of any kind, which is why it has stayed small.
Clockwork takes the deeper, more mechanical end of tech house in long patient mixes, most of them past two hours; Voozy is warmer and handles the late nights with melodic deep house and the occasional funk or disco edit. Everything is a continuous single take rather than a compilation, and the whole back catalogue sits on the homepage as free downloads with no sign-up.
Fifteen-year-old records welcome.
