Hooold...
Dusting off the needle…
Organic grooves and warm beats built for moving.
Bloop's other unpresented channel takes the exact opposite instruction to the one sitting beside it. The station is family-operated and independent, working out of 42 Theobalds Road in Holborn and on air since at least early 2016, with two live channels for its London residents and its overseas guests and two themed streams that run without a host. Where Channel 3 is written to settle a room, Channel 4 is the one that keeps it moving, and having no presenter, it never stops for a link.
Its written brief is an organic journey of beats drenched in grooves, put together to get a room going rather than to fade quietly into the back of it. Disco, nu-disco and funk-leaning house run continuously, warmer and more physical than the ambient stream next door, and closer to what the residents play at a Bloop night than to anything meant as wallpaper.
Grooves with the lights low.
