Radio should be easy to reach for anyone who wants to listen, whatever you use to get around the web. This page covers what already works in the SINK web player, and how to tell us when something gets in the way.

You can run the player from the keyboard on any page. The keys stay quiet while you're typing in a search box or a form, so they never interrupt a search.

KeyWhat it does
SpacePlay your last station, or stop the one that's playing
↑ ↓Turn the volume up or down
MMute, and press again to bring the sound back

The play and pause buttons on your headphones and the media keys on your keyboard work too, and the station shows up in your system's media controls with its artwork.

If you've asked your system to reduce motion, SINK turns its animations off. Scrolling track titles and the fades between pages stay still.

The site follows your system's light or dark setting. You can also pick one yourself in Settings, under Preferences.

If something is hard to use, or doesn't work with the tools you rely on, write to hello@sink.fm. It helps to know the page you were on and how you browse, for example with a screen reader or the keyboard alone. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
