Radio Nemiers went on air on 1 December 2018, built by Aigars Sukurs — DJ 130db — for a Riga bar that has since closed. Lite arrived three years later, on 17 December 2021, for the hours when metalcore is more than anyone actually wants. Same operator and the same rule that nothing stays in rotation forever, but the guitars are cleaner and nobody is screaming. It is the middle of three channels he runs off a single library, and the only one where melody is the point rather than a bonus.

The window leans indie rock and emo: bright, hook-first indie guitar bands on one side, emo and its punk-edged revival on the other, and the garage-rock revival supplying the swagger. Shoegaze, goth-pop and folk-rock sit on the stated list as well. What the name does not prepare anyone for is the prog, with progressive rock and progressive metal both turning up inside a single hour.
