Mad Records Miami, the group's room in the city, is set into the Selina Gold Dust Motel in the MiMo District, one of the landmarks of Miami's mid-century modernist strip. Mad Radio had started in Medellin in 2017, and this room came early enough that the later Mad Records site back home was billed as following its success. In December 2023 the motel turned into a design venue for the week of Art Basel, with Mad Radio cohosting a run of nights that opened three days before the fair itself did.

Jazzy deep house and nu-disco carry the hours, with basslines that actually move, disco edits from both sides of the Atlantic, and enough minimal in the mix to keep the whole thing off the brunch playlist. The selection leans sunlit rather than nocturnal, and the tempo barely shifts between the middle of the afternoon and the small hours of the morning.
