Hujujuj is the work of a small Hungarian crew who call themselves listeners rather than broadcasters — people who liked electronic music enough to build somewhere to put it. Its site has been up since 2018, and the station grew the way the crew wanted it to: friends joining one at a time, each arriving with a show and a name for it. Nobody is on staff. The way onto the schedule is still to write in and offer a mix, which is how most of the residents on the grid got their slot in the first place.

It was set up to air a new exclusive mix every evening with repeats in between, and in practice the repeats carry most of the grid. The core is deep, tech and progressive house with techno alongside, from long-running shows such as Ga3orT's Music In My Mind, Music is the Answer with Dj FogL and J. Psalms, and Tono's Progressive Family & Friends. The mixes, not the tracks, are the unit.
