ericade.radio is Erik Zalitis — DJ Daemon — carrying on what he did on Stockholm community FM between 1995 and 2006: playing Amiga tracker music and talking over it. In between came a bulletin board called The ERICADE Network, which ran three tracked-music competitions and put the entries on air, and a WinAmp-and-Shoutcast stream that held out from 2005 until 2015. The present station launched on 14 September 2020, with Coreus, a listener who came back and stayed, building the site around it.

What the station calls chiptune, synthwave and retro electro is, underneath, tracker music: written on Amigas and PCs in Protracker, Impulsetracker and Fasttracker, with the commercial game composers of the nineties beside scene musicians who never sold a note. Flashback, the weekly show, is past 160 episodes of stories about the C64, the Amiga and the scene, and it goes live from Edison, Assembly and Arok.
