New

You can now download SINK stickers and mascots on the new Swag page.

Improved

The web player now reconnects to Google Cast after a page reload.

Your speaker keeps playing while the player restores your station, connection and volume controls. Pressing Stop during reconnection keeps playback stopped.

Improved

The web player now keeps your browser volume separate from Google Cast volume.

Casting keeps your speaker’s current volume, and the slider follows your adjustments without jumping back. Returning to this browser restores its own level.

Improved

You can now cast stations from the web player in Chrome to Google Cast devices.

Help explains Chrome’s local network permissions, including the setting on Mac. While you cast, the player shows the name of the speaker or TV you’re listening on.

02
New

Picks in the iPhone app now opens with the stations you played last, with a way through to your Library.

New

Picks in the iPhone app has three new shelves: Experimental, Freeform and DJ Sets.

Improved

Explore puts stations whose main sounds match your selected genres and styles first.

New

A new Apps page shows where you can listen to SINK and what we’re building next.

You’ll find it under Listen in the footer, and the footer now has the App Store badge too.

Improved

The welcome email now links to the iPhone app on the App Store.

Improved

After a reload, you can restart your station with one press of play when your browser asks for it.

Improved

In Safari on iPhone and iPad, a banner at the top of the page now links to the iPhone app.

01
Improved

Welcome, verification, password reset and email change emails now arrive in your account’s language.

Signing up with Google or Apple now brings the welcome email too, and on the web such an account starts in the language of the page you signed up on.

Improved

Session and sign-in method dates in Settings now appear in your language and timezone.

Improved

Wording is corrected across the Danish, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch versions of the site, the iPhone app and CarPlay.

The Help page now covers the iPhone app, station suggestions and where to delete your account.

New

Picks now opens with the stations you played last, from any device, with a link through to your Library.

Improved

Moving between Picks, Explore and Library no longer reloads the page; the player and header stay put and only the page changes.

Improved

Reloading or leaving the page while a station plays now starts a short fade-out to help avoid abrupt cuts.

Improved

Volume and appearance are now settings of the device you’re on, and no longer follow you between devices.

Each browser and each iPhone keeps its own volume and light or dark choice, and keeps them when you sign out or switch accounts. Your last station still follows you.

Improved

Each account now keeps its own last station, including when you switch accounts in another browser tab.

New

You can now open the complete featured collection in Explore from the iPhone app’s Featured shelf.

28
New

26
New

You can now suggest a station for us to hear. Sign in, then use Suggest a station at the foot of any page to send its name and link.

Improved

Station genres and styles now share one musical map, keeping broader families consistent across station pages, Explore, search and related stations.

Improved

Explore’s genre and style picker now uses the complete musical map, with choices that have no matching stations clearly unavailable.

Improved

Search now ranks exact genres and styles ahead of their broader musical families, bringing the closest musical matches to the top.

Improved

More like this now follows the musical connections between styles, putting the same and neighbouring styles first while treating a shared broad genre as the weakest link.

24
Improved

Choosing a broad style in Explore, like house, now also finds stations tagged with its narrower styles, such as deep house or tech house, and search does the same. Related stations follow the same family, so a deep house station can lead you to a tribal house one.

Improved

Explore's language filter has been removed; stations are still filtered by texture, genre, style, identity, programming, country and city.

Improved

Station pages no longer list listening identity, sonic texture or recurring programming.

23
New

Station details now show each station's listening identity, sonic texture and recurring programming.

Improved

Catalog search now understands established musical spellings and station aliases while composing with every Explore filter.

New

Improved

Related stations now reflect a station's exact styles, broader genres, listening identity and sonic texture more faithfully.

22
Improved

Explore now filters by style instead of subgenre, and a station's genres and styles both link straight into it.

New

You can now change your display name and profile photo in the iOS app.

Improved

Devices in account settings now show richer activity details, with names that persist across sign-ins.

Improved

Screen readers now announce when a station is connecting, playing or stopped, and every page has a Skip to content link.

21
Improved

Pricing now tells you when your account already includes the plan, or when a subscription isn't available to it.

Improved

The Listen spotlight now links a station's styles alongside its genres, so a pick leads straight into Explore.

15
Improved

Long track details now scroll once, then stay still; hover or focus the player to see them again.

Improved

The player now keeps station location above its name and shows the editor’s note when live track details are unavailable.

14
Improved

Search from any page

Improved

Pages keep working through updates
