On air since 1 November 1982, and internet-only since it let go of 99.1 FM in 2014, broadcasting from AF-borgen on Sandgatan as a committee of Akademiska Föreningen. What makes it unusual is the constitution: the station chief is legally the responsible publisher, is elected by the members, and works the job full-time for exactly one year before handing it on. Twenty or so other officers are voted in the same way, at term meetings where any member can put a motion and every member has a vote.

Dozens of places open on the beginners' course every term, and the first thing each intake makes goes straight out on air. Upp och hoppa takes the mornings, ((RUNDGÅNG)) a weeknight, the big dipper the late hours with whatever is not being played elsewhere, and Way Out Radio decamps to the festival each summer. On the last day of April the station DJs the city park.
