Eeeven...
De naald wordt afgestoft…
Punk, hardcore and crust, with ska for the bruises.
Three people run it and they list themselves by job: Spazztula edits and keeps the front and back end standing, Sodapop is the resident technologist who compiles every program he uses, and The Crucializer writes, makes zines and claims to like both kinds of music — hardcore punk and reggae. Everything is self-hosted down to the chat room, with no social login anywhere near it, and the site carries a magazine and its own directories of bands, labels and venues alongside the stream.
Punk is the heartbeat, as their own copy puts it, and the rotation bears it out: Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, No Use For A Name, The Offspring, OFF!, Pipedown. Ska, rocksteady, reggae and hip-hop fill in around it, and the writing follows the Greek scene — Sarabante's crust records, benefit gigs against capitalism, Merzbow's first night in the country.
Athens, still shouting.
