Three people started it in Riga in 2015 as a radio show: the fashion designer Rolands Pēterkops, the sound artist Reinis Semēvics and the composer Jānis Šipkēvics. In March 2020 it became a 24/7 station in its own right, listener-funded and carrying no advertising and no sponsored content, though the original show also goes out weekly on the public network LR3. Since 2022 it has been a co-founder of the Independent Community Radio Network, alongside Palanga Street Radio and IDA.

The hours run from early minimalism and the cosmic end of krautrock to modular ambient and fourth-world collaborations, with poetry readings, field recordings and interviews with composers folded in, and daytime drifts into dream pop. Off air it stages the White Wall sessions, live sound against projected work, and a twice-yearly Unexpected Sources series.
