Aspeeetta...
Spolveriamo la puntina…
Rap, soul and R&B from the Silesian underground.
It opened on 21 November 1969 in Student House No. 1 out in Katowice-Ligota, and stayed in that building for fifty-five years. The move came with Katowice's year as European City of Science: in 2024 the station left the halls for spinPLACE, a creativity and coworking centre on Bankowa in the city centre, and on 17 March 2025 it added a DAB+ signal from a transmitter on the Altus tower. Its alumni include the television anchors Kamil Durczok and Marek Czyż, and a Silesian rapper with a national following.
The weekday grid is mostly talk — a science hour called Kopalnia Wiedzy, two culture slots, and V Kwarta on sport every single day — wrapped in music blocks called Studenckie Granie. The show the station says draws its biggest audience is Winylowe Pole, two hours a week of rap, hip-hop, soul and R&B, with room for the underground and for artists from around Katowice.
Sport, science, and a vinyl hour.
