Aspeeetta...
Spolveriamo la puntina…
Organic house and downtempo, shaped to the clock.
Mayday Records went on air in 2020 as an independent electronic station built around a single idea: programme the whole day rather than fill it. The grid moves in blocks from five in the morning onward — psy beats and psybient first, then a long soft middle of coffee-hour and indie selections, a sunset stretch and evening sessions that carry on through to the small hours. The same shape repeats every day of the week, so the hour you tune in tells you roughly what you will get.
The sound sits in organic and melodic house most of the day, long progressive builds with warm low end and few vocal hooks, with minimal techno and techno taking over in the dead hours after three. It thins out into downtempo and ambient at the edges of the day, and the psybient hour at dawn closes the loop before the morning selections start again.
No host, no interruptions.
