Spolveriamo la puntina…
Deep house, jazz house, and afro cuts, hand-picked.
Studio 909 went on air on 1 September 2026, put together in Brittany by two people who had already spent their working lives inside this music: Pascal Joly, a DJ of some forty-five years who has spent almost as long in radio, and Patrick Hervieu, a radio technician whose CV runs through NRJ, Chérie FM and Europe 2 in Prague. The name is a nod to the Roland TR-909, the drum machine that shaped house music and turns up under half the records they play. It runs as a non-profit association and takes no advertising.
The core is contemporary deep house, widened by jazz house, afro house, melodic house and tech house, from New Jersey's soulful veterans and French deep house producers to the moodier London end. Every track is picked one at a time rather than generated, and the day is built as a single arc. Podcasts, artist interviews and a weekly deep house top twenty run alongside the music.
Two lifers, one signal.
