Espeeera...
Quitando el polvo a la aguja…
Darkwave, coldwave and EBM for the small hours.
Radio Darkzera runs out of São Paulo on the premise that the dark end of the underground deserves a signal of its own, and it is assembled the slow way — continuous digging, close attention to what the scene is actually doing, nothing bought in ready-made. The station files a monthly Revelação Sombria, handing one new band or project the spotlight, and keeps the Mapa Underground, a crowd-built directory of the clubs, bars, dancefloors and record shops that hold the night together in cities across the country.
Darkwave, post-punk, coldwave, EBM and industrial run round the clock, and the flow moves with the hour rather than the chart: first-wave Manchester and London post-punk shares a stretch with the new darkwave duos, forty years apart and none of it softened. The weekly grid names its moods plainly — WarmUp Sessions, Darkwave Sessions, EBM & Industrial Night, Sessão da Meia-Noite.
No hit ever made it in.
