Espeeera...
Quitando el polvo a la aguja…
Controlled derailment, broadcast from Grenoble's 90. 8.
Its first programmes went out on 1 November 1993 under a different name, Radio Brume Grenoble, and it became Radio Campus Grenoble in January 1999, when it joined the student network. Since 2003 the studios have sat in the student-life building on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus, where the people who make the programmes also learn to make them: production, editing, communication and project work are handed to volunteers rather than taught at them. The frequency is 90.8.
The grid sorts itself into lanes. Les amplis à fond, Rotten to the Core and Voix de garage take the loud end, Electropolis, Trafic 908 and Campus Club the electronic one, Expression Jazz and Sensation Soul the groove, and Wise up Station the reggae and dub. Franche Touche keeps to French-language records, and around them run magazines on cinema, politics and the city.
A student station that trains.
