Creative Commons records and free-culture capsules.
Fedi Drama Radio comes out of TuiterRocks, the Spanish-speaking corner of the Fediverse, and is put together by one person in Culleredo, just outside A Coruña. The rule it works to is narrow and deliberate: nothing goes on air unless it carries a Creative Commons licence or the artist has said yes in writing, which rules out most of what a music station would normally reach for. It is not trying to be anyone's main channel either — where it can, it sends listeners on to the musician's own links.
The rotation is called Frecuencia Mapache, and an hour of it ran Nargo's Rave Symphony into Ketsa, Deimos, Klitbeats and a chiptune piece by Michał Jałochowski — free-licence electronics, mostly, with rarities either side. Between the records come its own short capsules on free software and digital rights, and carried shows: La Cafetera's morning news, Dyvulgativa on science, Radialistas.
