A weekly darkwave podcast out of Barcelona went live in May 2019, and by that December it had hosted enough bands — Sonsombre, Vacio Negro, unitcode:machine, Sindicato Vertical — to press a compilation cassette of everyone who had turned up. A second volume followed. Then the domain and the Bandcamp account were lost, and the project had to be rebuilt from recovered masters and a handful of surviving tapes; both cassettes went back on sale in 2025, under a new address and a far wider remit than a podcast.

The people picking the records are the same ones writing about them, so the rotation runs darkwave, coldwave, minimal synth, EBM and gothic rock with the eighties lineage audible behind the newer bands. Artists and DJs submit their own work directly, every track is listened to in full before it goes in, and nothing arrives by way of a recommender or a chart.
