Label and artist radio shows, house through techno.
Radio MRS has been running for more than a decade, put together by DJs and producers scattered across several countries rather than staffed out of one studio. Donations, sponsors and volunteers keep it going, and what comes in goes on equipment and running costs. The shape of it is unusual: rather than building its own programmes, it carries other people's — the label and artist radio series that circulate through the club-music world, gathered onto one frequency and played around the clock.
Days Like Nights, Bonzai Basik Beats, the Stereo Productions podcast, Group Therapy and the Ballroom Records Radioshow all hold slots, beside a long list of smaller label and producer series that reach from progressive into tribal house. Loose Tapes leans French house and nu disco; the rest sits between deep house, tech house and techno, with deep house carrying the most shows.
Everyone brings their own hour.
