Ibiza Global Radio began in August 2004, co-founded by Igor Marijuan, on the premise that what the island's clubs played deserved a station of its own rather than a holiday soundtrack, and that the DJs playing it should be the ones on air. It goes out on 97.6 FM and around the clock online, from studios in the Poligono Raspallar on the edge of Ibiza town and, through the season, a second booth down at Playa d'en Bossa. The same company runs Ibiza Global TV beside it, a classics stream, and the station's own festival.

Igor Marijuan holds Ibiza Flight Club, Reff runs Deep Paradise, Xavi Emparan takes Go With The Flow, and Jose Maria Ramon has both Morning Sounds and Melodías Para Tu Sofá. Selected Beats and Beach Beats carry the daytime, Global Live hands hours to visiting DJs, and Luciano, Cristian Varela and Tommy Vee bring label shows of their own — Cadenza and CUBR1K among them.
