program audioprogram audio

program audio is a San Francisco label, shop and radio station in one, run out of a storefront at 1800 Haight Street by co-founders erika and sfcowboy — she came up through her family's dance gatherings, he is a Bay Area native who Mixmag named an artist to watch in 2025 and who edits the outfit's own print magazine, soulseek. The broadcast is the public-facing end of all of it: Friday to Sunday, three until seven in the afternoon, with the room open and the stream running off the home page.

Residents work in monthly slots and each one states its terms. From Below moves through Detroit techno, deep house, acid and hip-hop-adjacent rhythms; circuit error sets hypnotic techno against neo trance; The In-Between digs rave classics; Low Decorum is an homage to late-90s LA backyard parties. The team fill the rest with breakbeats, jungle and atmospheric drum and bass.
