Tørrer støvet af nålen…
Ambient, psybient and dub from Finnish netlabels.
K3ksi and Change put out the first Kaaosradio broadcast from Change's cave, to five listeners, one of whom stayed to the end. K3ksi died in November 2013 and the station he started carried on without him, which is how a fair amount of underground radio survives. It stayed non-commercial and runs on volunteers' spare time, more than fifty DJs and a handful of resident producers who organise the whole thing on an IRC channel that has outlasted most of the chat platforms built to replace it.
Chill is by far the slowest of the station's channels, holding ambient, psybient, downtempo, dub and trip-hop. Everything in the 24-hour rotation is free music, either Creative Commons releases from netlabels or tracks the station's own artists handed over for the playlist, so a good deal of it exists nowhere else. The live shows and the genre days happen elsewhere on the dial.
Free music, freely given.
