Aspeeetta...
Spolveriamo la puntina…
Hip-hop, indie pop, and records with no shelf.
The lineage starts in a hall of residence. In 1964 students at Wrocław's polytechnic set up a radio studio in dormitory T-8 and named it FOSA 64 after the building's nickname; over the next quarter-century it became Iglica, then Zgrzyt, then Academic Radio Wrocław, the university paying for all of it throughout. The current station picked the thread up online in June 2004, won an FM licence from the broadcasting council two years later, and reached Wrocław's airwaves on 1 October 2006 at 91.6.
The station's student music desk picks the playlist, and the brief is young and independent rather than any one genre: hip-hop, indie pop, club records and a good deal that sits between them. Dobra Noc opens the night on a dance selection, then eases down through psych-rock and soul into ambient by sunrise. Six editorial desks fill the rest, one of them covering Eastern Europe.
The playlist changes each semester.
