Aspeeetta...
Spolveriamo la puntina…
Weekday satire wrapped in eighties pop and italo-disco.
Igor Brakus and Smiljan Banjac had run Obavezno–Neobavezno on Belgrade's Radio Laguna for years when 93.7 was shut down in September 2020 and the frequency passed to Željko Mitrović. Rather than work for him they kept the show and left the transmitter behind, going live online that October under the contraction Ob-Neob. Nothing is sold on air: listeners pay for it by standing order, PayPal and Patreon, and the pair also shift mugs and T-shirts with their own caricature on them.
Ten to twelve on weekdays is the two of them on Serbia and the region; the rest of the week belongs to the colleagues they took in, which is where the slogan about a home for unhoused radio hosts comes from. Peđa Mitrović's Rokaliteti, Dragoljub Pejčev's Plantaža on the roots of blues, Baki's Italo-disko nostalgija, Brakus's own 80te on Saturday nights.
Off the dial, and unrepentant.
