Techno, jungle and dub from a Lyon crew's own nights.
Vandale Radio began broadcasting from Lyon in 2025 and calls itself a pirate station, which means the attitude rather than the licence: it is a registered association run by its members, and anyone wanting a slot applies for one. It works as much off air as on, promoting its own nights in Lyon rooms — La Pente, HEAT, Les Barjaqueurs — and recording the residents and guests who play them so the sets go out later. Between those recordings the stream runs on its own mood playlists, named in the house style: Bougeage, Motivage, Focusage, Rouillage.
The parties set the range: techno, trance and bass at Fraisage, breakbeat, jungle and IDM at Club Labo, dancehall and reggae for the Fête de la Musique, rap at Dérapage. On air, Maya gives two-hour blocks to drifting music, Herby-I and the Layma Sound crew bring roots and dub once a month, and the Tinks is among the most regular voices on the schedule.
New, and not asking permission.
