Hooold...
Dusting off the needle…
Modern dub and low end, filed in from everywhere.
The second studio is the one that does not open onto the venue, which is why its week looks nothing like the first's: sixty-two shows, not one of them shared with CH1, and a roster that reaches a long way past Deptford. Glasgow, Copenhagen, Toronto and Reykjavik all file into it, alongside the London regulars. Aaja has held the arch on Deptford High Street since 2018 — bar, label and events — and this is the half of the operation that carries on when the room downstairs is empty.
Dub runs through it twice over, in Adam Mac and Razzle's Modern Dub Show and the Modern Dub Music Show, with Low End Theories underneath. Drivetime with Wiseman takes the evening commute, Game Lab FM comes from Liam Howe in Reykjavik and Mare's Nest from aloisius in Glasgow. Shows are marked live or archive, and plenty are cut with people in the room.
Neighbours with the aux cord.
