Dusting off the needle…
A continuous scan of ambient, IDM, garage and techno.
Radio Magnetic Resonance broadcasts out of a flat in the Bolognina that doubles as a painting studio, and treats that as the premise rather than a detail: the room's light, its plants and the canvases on the walls are counted as part of the signal, painting and sound kept as parallel practices and both of them ways of looking twice. The district supplies the rest — a part of Bologna made of movement and layered identities, where local and visiting scenes cross without anyone arranging it.
The schedule follows the shape of a day rather than a genre grid: slow mornings, afternoons that open out, nights that stretch. Saramood and Fulvio Fu hold the small hours with Residual, Filibalou's Arcani runs ambient and kosmische, Ankles' Bassissimo takes breaks and jungle, Magenta's Umbratile goes to Jamaican bass. Sessions are recorded with artists, not booked from selectors.
The paint is still wet.
