Transient RadioTransient Radio

Transient Radio began as a passion project among a handful of Suffolk DJs and record obsessives who wanted somewhere underground music could breathe, away from algorithmic playlists and station formats. A few late-night broadcasts turned into a full-time schedule with a resident roster and listeners across the UK and Europe. It stays deliberately unbacked — no investors, no commercial partners, no pay-to-play slots — and its DJs sit across East Anglia, Essex and London rather than in one studio.

Every hour belongs to whoever is holding it. Andy Westbrook and Disco DJ Mac run Discoteca on disco, dub disco and balearic, with Mac refusing anything that is not a 7-inch; Chris Coco brings Melodica; Conrad Clarke digs jazz funk and rare groove on The Roots of Modern Soul; Mellojamz selects lovers rock and dub; and bAD SHERPA's Noodlearm Care Home goes acid, bleep and wonk.
