Radio DopoRadio Dopo

It exists because of an Erasmus+ grant: in 2025 an EU-funded project paired Palermo with two established community stations, Kiosk Radio in Brussels and Refuge Worldwide in Berlin, and Radio Dopo came out of it. There was a soft launch in June, broadcasts proper from December, and then a room of its own in the middle of the city, inside the European Palermo Youth Center. It runs as a non-profit and builds its schedule with artists, cultural workers and other associations on the island.

Gibbioni Rap works through the endless declensions of hip-hop; Electronic Shakers takes techno and electro; Ascending Signs is hosted by the Sicilian producer who runs the label of that name, on deep house and disco; *OFFLICENSE handles UK bass; and Musica gioco crosses post-punk with techno and dub. A Black Jazz Records special turned up in April.
