Mooment...
Die Nadel wird entstaubt…
Unsigned indie and alt-rock, songwriting first.
The station started in December 2017 and is run by musicians, which shows in how it handles the pile: hundreds of submissions arrive every month and about fifteen per cent of them reach air. The instructions are exact — two songs at most, in MP3, properly tagged with artist, title and artwork, and no Spotify or Bandcamp links — because whoever is listening wants to preview and download in one pass rather than chase a player around the internet. Everything else goes back unplayed.
Songwriting is the filter. Alternative and rock, indie and folk, anything out of the box, in English and with a voice on it; Baxfield's Blurred City is the kind of record that gets through. The station is also upfront about the other half of the arrangement: artists who listen back, interact and share get more airtime than those who do not, and it says so on the page.
Bring a song, not a beat.
