Made in public: installations, performances, garage rock.
Kolektiv opened a second channel because one schedule could not hold what the collective wanted to try on air. KR2 broadcasts from a room in central Prizren that the public can walk into while it is running, and treats the medium itself as the material — honouring traditional radio in one hour and taking it apart in the next. Alongside its regular shows the schedule carries one-off events, extended live performances, sound installations and generative sessions that run as long as they need to.
Between those it runs on four curated blocks that follow the energy of the day. Dawn Rhythms builds from gentle to loud, Daily Crossovers mixes eras and styles, and the evening block gets louder before Midnight Craft slows the night with surf, lo-fi and soft jazz. Much of it leans on garage and post-punk guitars, and hosts come through the same open application the first channel uses.
Radio, taken apart on purpose.
