Veeent...
Tørrer støvet af nålen…
Rock, dub and soul, past forty and still loud.
It began in Bruz in 1984, in the wave of stations that followed the end of the French state's monopoly on the airwaves, and waited until 1992 for a licence of its own. It broadcasts on 94.0 from the old Maison des Associations on cours des Alliés, a building the city now calls le 360, and belongs to Férarock; when the federation turned thirty-five it was Canal B that hosted the marathon — thirty-five hours of live radio out of bars, venues and the public library across Rennes.
Nothing about the grid is formatted. 45 Tours Par Minute runs rock'n'roll, mambo, garage and doo wop, Dub Revolution and Bass Element take the low end, Blueshit the blues, Aloha from Rennes goes around the world by record, and La Sieste holds the afternoon. Between them come broadcasts from cafés and venues, and workshops that put first-timers on air.
The city's stubbornest frequency.
