Campus & City Radio 94.4Campus & City Radio 94.4

CR 94.4 is the free radio at the St. Pölten campus, on air since 30 April 2002, non-commercial and non-partisan under the Austrian free-radio charter, reaching about seventy thousand people. It is also the largest terrestrial training radio in the country: students of the Fachhochschule work the newsroom, the marketing and the desk alongside volunteers from the city, and the station calls that arrangement cross learning. Entry workshops are free, and the site is published in German, English and Polish.

Pure Steel keeps the metal end, BlackXplosion and MC Ron the hip-hop, Basshouse the house, and Modulisme an hour of modular synthesis. Female Fronted does what its name says; Austro Neuerscheinungen takes the week's Austrian releases; 80er analog and Die 70er Radioshow run off vinyl. A weekly chart and a songfinder let you go back and find what played.
