Nu-disco, afro house and lounge, on a strict clock.
Jainaro has DJed in Riga since the early 2000s and has, by his own account, worked practically every club and restaurant in the Latvian capital — Nautilius, Roxy, Friends, Aqua Luna, T73, Cafe Del Mar Riga and Easy Wine. Your City Radio is that residency turned into a signal: a station built for the bars and rooms he plays in, running alongside a business that curates Spotify playlists for the bars and restaurants wanting the same thing without a DJ standing in the corner of the place.
It is day-parted rather than shuffled. A Wake Up Show eases the day in at dawn, Morning Primetime turns up the pop and nu-disco, Lounge for Working Mind holds the long working stretch through lunch, Evening Primetime aims itself squarely at the evening drive home, and the Night Chill Out Show carries the small hours on jazz, soul, R&B and Latin records.
Made for rooms, not headphones.
