HEADY.FM went up in 2022 and is run more or less single-handed by Johan Moreno, who makes a point of saying that the programming is built by hand — not by a broadcasting conglomerate and not by an algorithm. The station carries no advertising in any form: no spots, no pre-roll, no selling of listener data, with the running costs and the licensing fees covered by listener contributions instead. Alongside the stream it publishes HEADYZINE, a strand of interviews, reviews and the occasional rant.

The sound sits in modern psychedelia and its neighbours — dream pop, shoegaze and hazy indie rock, with Night Tapes on air when I checked. Fridays at ten Rouxbais Dale takes over for Night Treats, a late electronic run through deep, progressive and tech house. Recorded shows and mixes stay up on demand, and listeners can talk over a track in the live chat while it plays.
