Hooold...
Dusting off the needle…
Dark ambient, neofolk, and gothic gloom from Prague.
The second channel exists because one was not enough room. Its operator — the same Prague collector who hand-picks everything here alone, as a hobby, with no advertising anywhere near it — keeps the light material on channel one and sends everything heavier this way. There is a line, though, and he is explicit about where it sits: doomy, weird and creepy are all welcome, but the channel does not cross into industrial, noise or power electronics. The gloom is meant to stay listenable, not punishing.
What that leaves is darkwave, dark ambient and the neoclassical-gothic seam between them, along with more song-shaped, acoustic material than the other channel carries. The drone runs deep here too, from veterans of the Swedish dark-ambient label scene to long-form pieces that hold the stream for ten minutes at a stretch, with newer records picked to sit beside them.
Angels and devils, equal airtime.
