Wanted RadioWanted Radio

Scooby and two friends put Wanted Radio on air in September 2015 with one argument: the Bordeaux rap scene was making records nobody outside the city would ever hear on a radio. The nonprofit behind it took the name Wanted Médias in 2023 and works out of a studio in the Bordeaux Maritime docks, but the founding job has not changed — local artists get the microphone first, and Scooby has stayed one of the voices holding it. Everyone presenting a show does it as a volunteer, paid for by members and grants.

Days run on French and American rap with nobody talking between the records, and the shows take over in the evening. DJ MA'ASTA takes a monthly slot for two and a half hours of uninterrupted mixing, and traces the careers that built the genre on Les Légendes du Rap. Culturap argues about the week, while Carton Rouge and Femmes dans tous ses états trade fire across it.
