Kunststaub runs on donations and carries no advertising, which is the whole argument: no algorithm picks anything, and the hours are handed to DJs rather than assembled from a library. It calls itself a 24/7 culture project rather than a radio station, one that wipes the dust off the faders — which is where the name comes from — and keeps its front bar in a Telegram channel called Kunststaub Kiosk. Every set goes into the archive as a podcast, and the oldest of them reach back to 2020.

Radiocast is the spine, monthly, two DJs to an episode, and past eighty episodes; embraceOurweird and Berndhain take the desk over as showcases; III — Irgendwas ist immer turns up when it turns up. In both 2025 and 2026 the station packed up for Zug der Liebe and came back with a handful of sets. Sunrise gets ambient and deep house, peak time trance and techno.
