Punk, rockabilly, and garage, straight off the vinyl.
Andy Harrison spent years on a weekly show in Northern Nevada, interviewing bands, promoting gigs and building a community around Carson City's punk and DIY circuit, before deciding the thing should stop depending on somebody else's transmitter. Just Punk Enough became its own 24/7 stream, built on a record collection, a field recorder and the conviction that most of this music disappears — bands split, hard drives die, flyers go in the bin — unless somebody happens to be there with the tape running.
Nine weekly slots carry named hosts: Jason Perl on Rockabillyish Radio, Jim Bowers digging through his own vinyl on Blank Tape Radio, Wayne Elliott on Pulsebeat, and The Commander on Oddities, Abnormalities & Curiosities. Between them it runs punk, hardcore, garage, ska, rockabilly and outlaw country, alongside live sessions cut around Carson City and Reno.
Small rooms, big volume.
